He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward and AnnaLee Jones. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his daughter Kristi Whitson (Calvin); his siblings, Judy Carter (Gary), Van (Vickie), Thomas (Joann) and Allen (Donna); and his grandsons, Jordan Salyer (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Salyer (Chelsea). He is also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
