He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Francis and Mary Powers Francis; and his siblings, Edna Bowers, Gladys Snow, Ella Clark, Edith Frye, Everette Francis, Frank Francis, Howard Francis and Robert Francis.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan Mahaffey (Jim); his grandchildren, Lisa Edwards (Carl) and Robin Rumley (James); his great grandchildren, Jordan Rumley, Anna Rumley and Jenna Edwards; his sister-in-law Martha Francis; his close friend Judy Nixon; and his caregiver Carol Saldido. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
