With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ora Carolyn Thompson Monroe of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. H. Thompson and Leora Webb Thompson; her husband Charles Donald Monroe; and her son Stephen Timothy Monroe. She is survived by: her son Mark Monroe (Mary) of Bristol, TN; her brother Jack Thompson (Dottie) of Bristol, VA; her grandchildren, John Monroe (Lisa), Emily Monroe (Doug Yezek), Anna Monroe Cox (Sidney) and Caitlyn Monroe; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Jacob, Will, Kitty, Garrett and Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Liberty Baptist Church, 112 Walnut Hill Rd., Bristol, TN 37620.
