She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Patterson and Ellenor Patterson; and her brother Edgar Patterson. She is survived by: her son Joseph "Joe" Boyd (Lisa); and her granddaughter Augusta Boyd. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CrossBridge Ministries (P.O. Box 198, Blountville, TN 37617) in loving memory of Norma.
