We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 86, Nelson E. Link (Bristol, Tennessee), born in Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dura Hardy Link and Oscar Thornton Link. He is survived by: his wife Joan West Barnett; his sons, Nelson Edward Link, Jr. (Angie Carter Link), Taylor Steven Link and Michael Hardy Link (Jennifer Erickson); his grandchildren, Allison Link Oakey (Sam Oakey), Meredith Carter Link, Taylor Link (Joe Mikuszewski), Cooper Steven Link, Georgia Dimple Link and Nelson Paxton Link; his great grandchild Riley Hope Mikuszewski; his brother Tom; and also, Abigal, Houston and Colton Erickson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest a donation to either Healing Hands in Bristol or First Baptist Church Bristol.
