She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Irick and Virginia Cook Irick; her husband Henry M. Horton, Jr.; her son Harold Daniel Horton; and her siblings, Christine Irick, Peggy Horn and Howard Irick.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Brown White (David), Barbara Jean Coker, Geneva Hess (Lawrence), Kenny Horton (Marketta) and Becky Elkins (Keith); her daughter-in-law Barbara Richardson Horton; and her grandchildren, Dave Horton (Tonya), Mike Horton (Nichole), Jenny Presley, Ciara Brown, Brittni Hess, Matt Hess (Sutton), Tim Coker and Branson Horton (Carlee). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosedale Baptist Church (352 Oakvale Ave, Rosedale, VA 24280). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
