We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, Missy (Melissa) Ann Worley of Bristol, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Missy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Missy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Billy; and her brother Charles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital or your local animal shelter in memory of Missy.
