With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Thomas Mitchell of Bristol, Tennessee, born in Washington, Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Mitchell; and his sister Jean Trent (Roy). He is survived by: his wife Linda Fogleman Mitchell; his stepson Barry Dutton (Lynlee); his sons, Michael Mitchell and Cheyanne Mitchell; his siblings, Larry Mitchell (Jill), Carol Wright, Mary Ellen Shepherd (Lonnie) and Kathy Henderson; his sisters-in-law, June Keesee and Lou Fowler; his nieces, Melinda Leonard (Ron) and Charity Fowler; his nephew Ron Franklin; his close friends, Lacey Cooke, Mike, Tammy Grady, Ron and Teresa Jarrett; and also Bill. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers, and Cold Spring Presbyterian Church building fund.
