She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Parnell, John Simmons and Bob McAllister; and her son Ron Parnell. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Silvey. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; many friends and her church family.
In lieu of flowers, Merry's family requests that contributions be made in her honor to Ballad Hospice House of Bristol.
