Though Melvin Cox may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kenneth Carter and Virgie Irene Sourbeer Carter; and his close friend Barbara Jane Wright. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Carter (Tammy), Deborah K. Cannon (Tracy), Mike Carter (Rebecca) and Ken Carter (Hannah); and his brother Roger Aaron Carter. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
