She was predeceased by: her parents, James Martin and Bertha Anderson Elkins; her former husband Carl Franklin Sharrett; her husband James William Phipps; her great grandchild Tyrus Wade Latham; and her daughter-in-law Betty Jo Vestal Sharrett.
She is survived by: her children, Dottie Reuning (James), Maxine Latham (Dale) and John Sharrett; her grandchildren, Cheri Davidson (Jimmy), Suzette Cross, Lisa Blevins (Joey) and Scott Latham (Tracy); and her sisters, Elizabeth Lumpkins and Vernila Kelly (Carl). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
