She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arlie and Mary Ethel Boling Carrier; her husband J. C. Newton; her son Bobby Joe Newton; and her siblings, Mack, J. C., Ronnie Carrier and June Weatherly.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Janice Newton; her grandson Jason Newton (Linsay); her great grandchild Chase Newton; her siblings, Linda Phillips (Lonnie) and Walter H. Carrier (Mildred); and her brother-in-law Walne Weatherly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
