She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Harkins and Nina Solomon Harkins; her husband Ted R. Barb, Sr.; her brothers, Lewis "Curly" Harkins, Frank Harkins, Charlie Harkins and Jack Harkins; and her grandson Jackie Elijah Mayo.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Himes (Debbie), Cynthia Gray (Cindy) and Ted Randall Barb (Randy); her close friend Faye Arrants Filiatrault; and also Anne Lynn Harkins. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, several dear nieces and nephews, countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
