With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Taylor of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Trivette, Sr. and Goldie Offield Trivette; her son Ivan Taylor; her siblings, Orville Trivette and Hazel Carrier; her niece Cyndi Woods; and her great-niece Ciara Woods.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin Taylor; her children, Sandy Clayton (Gary) and Karen Raines (Gary); her siblings, Audrey Woods (Buddy), Johnny Trivette (Linda) and Becky Lowe (Hal); and her nieces and nephews, Tim Woods, Chris Trivette, Ricky Trivette, Tracy Trivette, Joey Baker, Josh Woods, Steve Taylor and Roger Taylor. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home (2223 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
