She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant E. Wells and Grace Elizabeth Steppe Wells; her husband Harry L. Dale, Jr.; her sons, Glenn E. Wood and Joseph W. Wood, III; and her sister Judy Teague.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Wood Parker (Danny); her grandchildren, Noah B. Parker, Amanda Wood and Susan Wood; and her sister Drexie White. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
