She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bob and Hassie Shankle; her husband James Frank Byington, Sr.; her brothers, Robert Shankle, Junior Shankle and Fredrick Shankle; and her sons-in-law, Stephen Williams, Sr. and Timothy Strickler, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Williams, Jim Byington (Jamie) and Rev. Jackie McGowan (Dewayne); her grandchildren, Stephen Williams, Jr. (Carol) of Angela Williams, T. J., Ethan Byington and Emma Byington; her great grandchild Maria Strickler; her sisters, Nancy Mitchell and Joyce Nixon (Bob); and her brother-in-law Wayne (Mildred Byington). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
