She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Thurston Pullon and Curtis Thurston; and her siblings, Curtis "Bo" Thurston, Sammy Thurston, Ronald "Ronnie" Thurston and Marcy "Missy" Cardwell.
She is survived by: her husband R. Michael Browder (Mike) of Bristol, Tennessee; her son Michael Parker (Danielle) of Bristol, Tennessee; her stepchildren, Bob Browder (Sherry) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Lisa Browder Rainero (Joe) of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Charles Rainero III of Charleston, Holston Rainero of Mount Pleasant, Robert Browder of Knoxville, Mary Wallace Rainero of Mount Pleasant, Will Parker of Bristol and Wyatt Parker of Bristol, Tennessee; her siblings, Dicky Thurston of Bristol, Tennessee and Ann Lane of Bristol, Tennessee; and her caregiver Lisa Belcher of Bristol, Tennessee..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (125 Sedgefield St, Bristol, VA 24201). A reception was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Virginian Golf Club (22512 Clubhouse Ridge, Bristol, VA 24202). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
