She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard White Collie and Lavalon Kernon Collie; her granddaughters, Lindsay Chester, Hailee Hopkins, Kristen Chester and Hattie Hopkins; her husband Bobby Wall of Bristol, Tenn.; her daughters, Nancy Hopkins (Ron Tanner), N. Y. and Aimee Chester; her son-in-law Scott Chester of Houston, Texas; her granddaughters, Jessica Lindsay Chester of San Diego, Calif., Hailee Kernon Hopkins of Fort Worth, Texas, Hattie Mahon Hopkins of Chicago, Ill. and Kristen Nicole Chester of San Diego, Calif.; and also, William Mahon Hopkins of Des Moines, Iowa and Amanda Payne. She was also cherished by child with her grandmother, four uncles and an aunt.
Services will be private due to COVID-19, with a celebration of Lavalon's life planned for the spring.
