He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Marshall Brittle and Alma Leclare Griffin Brittle; and his brother-in-law C. Stuart Ridout. He is survived by: his wife Linda Vaughan Brittle; his children, Lorraine Leclare Brittle of Kennebunk and Marshall Kenneth Brittle, Jr. of Bristol; his siblings, Rubin Coleman Brittle (Nancy) of Blacksburg and India Sue Brittle Ridout (Fredericksburg); his siblings-in-law, Ann Shelton Vaughan Gambrell and Bill Gambrell (Virginia Beach); and his nieces and nephews, Eric, Ryan Brittle, Renee Brittle Stansbury, John, Gregory Ridout, Ellen Rivers and Connor Vaughan Gambrell.
A reception was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Central Presbyterian Church (331 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, VA 24201).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 331 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, Virginia 24201 or charity of choice.
