He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Diane Kirchen, Joe Jr. (Rita) and Bob; his sister Grace Tarascavage; his grandchildren, Lauren Cole, Spencer Kirchen, Dominic Avento, Carli Kirchen, Nicole Kirchen, Nicholas Avento, Vanessa Kirchen and Natalie Avento; his great grandchild Aislynn Seagroves; and his friend Herd.
