It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Jones in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick McDonald Jones and Anna Retta Jone (Lawson); and his wife Phyllis Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Jones and Kevin Jones (Elizabeth); his granddaughters, Katherine Mason (Cory) and Jillian Jones; his brothers, Freddie Jones (Angie) and Larry Jones (Brenda); and his daughter-in-law Sandra Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the UT Extension Office, 4-H, 140 Spurgeon Lane, Blountville, TN, 37617 with a note or memo stating: to 4-H in memory of Joseph "Jay" Jones.
