We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2020, at the age of 53, John Robert Watts of Bristol, Tennessee, born in Johnson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Wilcox Watts. He is survived by: his father Robert "Bob" Watts; his daughter Laura Watts; his granddaughter Margret; and his siblings, William, Jason and Lisa.

Our band, Electric Middle Earth, pushed the boundaries of musical genres. Rob’s talent could take you into an otherworldly realm of dreamlike soundscapes, hard rock crunch, jazz and psychedelic madness. We had some wonderful times over the years. My deepest sympathies go out to his daughter Laura, family and friends. I will miss you greatly my friend.”
