He is survived by: his wife Theresa Flanagan (Dress); his children, John Flanagan III (Christine Corazza-Flanagan) and Christine McKinney (Flanagan); his grandchildren, Mason Flanagan, Taylor Flanagan and Jake McKinney; his stepson James Baker; his stepson-in-law Donald Heath; and his stepgrandson Andrew Heath.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Anne's Catholic Church, 316 Euclid Ave., Bristol, VA 24201 in his memory.
