He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Dabbs (Thomas) of Bristol, Tennessee; his children, Virginia Louise Davis (Dabbs) of Bristol and John Morris Dabbs, II (Nikki) of Bristol; his grandsons, John Morris Dabbs, III and Robert Thomas Dabbs of Bristol; his stepgrandson Shane Lewin of Gray; his sisters, Joan Hensley (Carl) of Jonesborough and Linda Dabbs of Bristol; and his brother-in-law Carson Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
