He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jewell; his parents, Austin Gent and Margaret Looney Gent; his sisters, Betty Olaughlin and Dorthy Harrison (Dot); and his mother-in-law Estelle Johnson Stine Freeman (Wallace Freeman).
He is survived by: his son Roger (Melissa); his grandson Levi (Michelle); and his brothers-in-law, Frank Harrison and Herbie Dunn.
