We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 86, Jearlene Mongle of Bristol, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Jearlene may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Odum and Verna Smith Odum; and her siblings, Rev. Ronny Odum, Phyllis O. McBroom and Larry S. Odum.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Mongle; and her sister Billie Jean Winchell (Marty). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakley-Cook Funeral Home (2223 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620).
