Jean Fugate Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2020, at the age of 86, Jean Fugate in Bristol, Tennessee, born in Appomattox, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Fugate to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Moore Burton and Julia Gibbings Burton; her brother Jim Burton; and her husband Judge William C. Fugate. She is survived by: her children, Elisabeth "Liz" Fugate of Johnson City, TN, Alice Fugate Legard (Tony) of Bristol and Charlie Fugate (Lisa) of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Jacqui Legard Kuecker (Will), Julia Legard, Will Fugate (Chelsea), Nathan Fugate and Nick Fugate; and her siblings, Ann Keck of Roanoke and Richard Burton of Cary, NC..

Also a very special thank you to the amazing staff at Oakmont at Gordon Park in Bristol, Va who provided excellent care and a loving environment, especially during this trying time of COVID-19.
