He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Elsie France Tiller Wingate. He is survived by: his wife Carol Elaine Leonard Wingate; his children, Jeff Wingate (Angela), Lisa Tillison (Russell) and Shannon Smith (Kevin); his brothers, Gary Wingate, Larry Wingate (Susie), Robin Wingate (Susie) and Terry Wingate (Patty); his grandchildren, Scottie Thomas (Dave), Alex Duckett (Zoe), Haley Lawson (Travis), Jamie Duckett (Ashley), Hunter Clark (Chris) and Ashley Silmon (Zach); and his pet JJ. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
