He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Canter and Elizabeth Trinkle Canter; and his son Travis Shane Canter. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Greer Canter; his daughter Kristi Jenkins (Eric); his daughter-in-law Donica Foster; his grandchildren, Sailor, River, Ridge, Ireland, Taylor Jenkins, Grayson, Tanzlee and Kaleb Canter; and his siblings, Jerry Canter (Charlotte), Louise Miller (Jack), Robert Canter (Barb), Clifford Canter (Patty), Johnny Canter (Vickie), Brenda Canter and Betty Tittle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
