He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Maples Watkins; his parents, Will Watkins and Jenny Watkins of Rutledge, TN; and his brother Harold Watkins. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Watkins (Janice) of Palm Coast, FL and Stephen Watkins (Phyllis) of Blountville, TN; his granddaughter Courtney Stone (Britt) of Bluff City, TN; and his great grandchildren, Eli and Judah Stone of Bluff City, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
