He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Knoll and Edith Knoll; and his siblings, Thomas "Tommy" Knoll, Johnny Mike Knoll and Margie Dean Mastracco.
He is survived by: his daughter Angelia "Angie" Flick (Shane); his grandchildren, Jessica Tignor and J. J. Sandoe; his great grandchildren, Kylie and Michael Tignor; and his sister Patsy Knoll Keiser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
