She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Clyde and Liza Wood Newton; her husband Earnie C. Payne; her children, Gary M. Payne and Guyva M. Payne; and her siblings, Kathleen McElroy, Ethel Newton, Hazel Culbertson, Mattie Fleenor, Dorothy Cardwell, Roy Newton, Jim Newton and Bill Newton.
She is survived by: her daughter Gale M. Payne. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
