He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph and Stella Claypool LaBounty. He is survived by: his wife Paula Morrell LaBounty; his daughters, Lauren Shoemaker of Columbus and Kathryn Spurlock (Tyler) of Clearwater, Fla.; his grandson Mason Shoemaker; and his mother-in-law Phyllis Morrell of Bristol.
