It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Allen Wellington of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Mae Wellington; his grandmother Dora Wellington; and his sisters, Nell Banner, Ruth Cummining and Novella Dixion.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Allen Wellington and Jeffery Wellington; his goddaughter Tiffany Calhoun; his siblings, Shirley Wellington (Mary Lee Pope) and William Wellington; and his grandchildren, Quentin Wellington, Trajan Wellington, Dante Wellington and Zion Calhoun. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
