She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hopkins and Lora Green Hopkins; her husband Jackson O. "Jack" Mallin; her sister Anne Sammons; and her brother-in-law Bud.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Jackson Mallin of Bristol, TN; her nephews, Alan C. Sammons (Lori) of Bristol, TN and Eric L. Sammons (Debbie) of Bluff City, TN; her grandson Christopher Jackson of Bristol, TN; and also Mallin, II of Bristol, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 700 Cumberland Ave, Bristol, VA 24201 or to a charity of one's choice.
