He is survived by: his wife Frances Abelseth; his children, Donna Goins (David, Mary Jane), Vickie Abelseth and Eddie Abelseth (Taren); his grandchildren, Amie Tribble, Christiana Crowl, Joe Abelseth, Angela Whitaker, Amanda Ealey and Tim Abelseth; his great grandchildren, Gaybriel Fitzpatrick, Raven Crowl, Austin Ealey, Waylon Ealey and Walker Ealey; his siblings, Louise Mays, Andy Abelseth (Helen, Mary Henninger), Ruth Jackson and Ray Abelseth (Rose, Faye Cook); and his brother-in-law Gene Hicks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
