He is survived by: his wife Vera Dawn Bowman Vinson; his nieces and nephews, Charles Vinson, Randy Vinson, Sara Vinson Hill and Renay Vinson Taylor; his great-nephew Scott Hill; his great-niece Tracey Hill Shockley; and also, Mary Beth Hill, Kayla Shockley, Kristen Shockley and Rowan Taylor.
