He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordella Gardner and Billy Gardner; and his siblings, William Gardner and Patricia Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Wagner-Gardner of Bristol, Tennessee; his sister Kathy Gardner of Johnson City, Tennessee; his children, Joey Gardner of Johnson City, Tierra Wagner (Brian Hadden) of Bristol and Traē Wagner (Beth) of Bristol, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Kyliana Hadden, Brian Hadden Jr., Kendon Hadden and Journee Wagner. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and cousins.
