He is survived by: his children, Donna Horn (Ronnie) of Grundy, VA and Frank Donald Compton II (Susan) of Bristol, TN; his grandson Chad Thompson (Bethany); his children, Blake Thompson (Alyssa), Blair Thompson, Bree Thompson, Aly Lockard, Luke Lockard, Ben Lockard, Eli Lockard, Lydia Lockard and Amy Colley (Shannon); his grandchild Ashlynn Colley; his daughter Amanda Johnson (Donnie); his grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Lexie Johnson, Tigh Compton (Lisa) and Michael Hackney (Jourdan); his children, Wesley Hackney, Christian Hackney and Tabitha Smith (Adam); his granddaughter Lydia Smith; and his siblings, Jack Compton of Staunton, VA, Lee Winebarger of Knoxville, TN, Yvonne Wilfong (John) of Savannah, GA and Carol Johnson of North Carolina.
