With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Evelyn Widener of Bristol, Tennessee, born in Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Price and Vergie Mae Price; her husband Richard "Pitch" Widener; and her children, Kim Frye, Connie Tignor and Marty Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Widener (Julie) of Piney Flats and Brian Widener of Bristol, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Jordan Briana, Krysteanna, Bryan, Rena, Matthew and Morgan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
