She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Frank and Laura Elizabeth Thomas Long; her husband Ernest Gray Buckles; and her brothers, Theodore Edward Long and George Long of Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Buckles, George Martin Buckles, Ernest Marshall Buckles (Sandra) and Lewis Allen Buckles (Marcia Bailey); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Buckles, Aaron Bailey and Ashley Combs. She is also survived by several nephews and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Loyal Berean Sunday School Class, c/o Central Christian Church, 424 Melrose St., Bristol, TN 37620.
