He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl G. Wilson and Mary Jane Canter Wilson; his sister Linda Eades; and his brothers-in-law, John Leonard and Landon Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Alice Jones Wilson; his son Eddie M. Wilson (Tina); his siblings, Fred R. Wilson (Peggy), Pat Feathers (Earl), Penny Leonard and Sharon Jones; and his pet Bear. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
