He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ford and Anna Ford; and his siblings, Those and Bessie Hale. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Bowers; his daughter Betsy Talbert (Bobby); his grandchildren, Brandie Worley and Chad Worley; his great grandchildren, Lyla Jade Worley and Gabby Worley; and his sisters-in-law, Edith Bowers, Winifred Large and Naomi Gross.
