He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hartzog and Zella Mae Ready Hartzog; his wife Gladys Hicks Hartzog; and his sister-in-law Cathy Hartzog. He is survived by: his son Samuel Aaron Hartzog; and his siblings, Denis Ray Hartzog, Cindy Richardson and Ron Hartzog (Deborah).
Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the family will plan a memorial service and celebration of Eddie's life at a future date.
