He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Willis and Maxie Fields Willis; and his siblings, Jimmy, Gary, Patricia Willis Whitson (Tony) and Marjorie Willis Harr (Ralph Harr).
He is survived by: his family Promise; his wife Sandra Smith Willis; his daughters, Michelle Willis Snyder (Steve) and Leslie Willis Greene (Jeff); his grandchildren, Seth Snyder (Lana), Sydney Snyder Breeding (Dylan), Cody Greene (Kayla Ketron Greene) and Connor Greene; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Cooper, Collin and Sophia Anne. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home Chapel (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel (839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620).
