He is survived by: his mother Veronica Johnson; his children, Vanessa Edokhamhen (Hudson), Shauntrell Merritt, Desaree Hudson, Zariah Hudson, Raehana Hudson, Brianna Brown, Brittany Brown, Raeanne Briscoe, Antwan Hudson and Desrick Hudson, Jr.; his siblings, Talana Gissentanner (Daniel), Tamica Scavella, Melissa Hudson, Monique Hudson, Alvan Hudson, Quincy Beal, Sr. and David Scavella; his grandchildren, Halisi Hudson and Nicole Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Malcolm Merritt, Alvin Merritt, Sr., Alex Hudson, Sr., Quincy Beal, Jr., Amir, Anthony, Jr., Derrick McKnight and Bernard Webb.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home Chapel (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620).
