He is survived by: his wife Joyce Michals Samuel; his sons, Dennis "Denny" Samuel (Cindy) of Bristol, TN and Sean Samuel of Bristol, TN; his granddaughters, Torey Bates Samuel and Nicole Elizabeth Kotowski; and his brothers, Clarence Samuel, Leslie Samuel and Randall Samuel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
