She is survived by: her husband Freddie Wayne Ball; her son Freddie Wayne Ball, Jr.; her grandson Freddie Wayne "Trey" Ball, III; her daughter Patsy Ball Frye (Don); and her brother Marvin Townsend (Charlene). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Institute, 349 Island Road, Bristol, VA 24201.
