He was predeceased by: his father David; his son David Franklin Buchanan, III; and his niece Taylor Murray. He is survived by: his siblings, Teresa Hunt, Loretta Scalf, Brenda Fall and Clarence Buchanan; his children, Travis Buchanan and Jesseica Cruz; his stepson John Dishman; and his grandchildren, Blaklee Buchanan, Kylie Dishman and Nicolas Cruz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
