He was predeceased by: his mother Edith R. Allen; and his brother Greg Allen. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hagy Allen; his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Allen (Aklilu Asfaw) of Arlington, VA and Laura Cummings (Deron) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Savannah and Luke Asfaw; his brother Samuel E. Allen of Jarrett, VA; and his sister-in-law Teresa Hagy. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
